Woman surrenders in Niagara Falls homicide

NIAGARA FALLS – Authorities on Tuesday afternoon took a woman into custody who they believe stabbed a man to death during a domestic incident on Monday night.

Police, along with the U.S. Marshals, had been searching for Chamia Nicole Johnson, 34, of Seventh Street, Niagara Falls, and she turned herself in to them about 12:30 p.m. Police charged her with second degree murder.

Police had been called to the Monteagle Ridge apartments off Hyde Park Boulevard at 10 p.m. where they found Antoine Mallory bleeding from a stab wound to the chest. Mallory, 39, was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where he died.
