Man man sent to prison for robbing banks in Buffalo, Kenmore

Isaiah Brown, 28, of Buffalo, was ordered to serve a 57-month federal prison term by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford Tuesday for robbing two Buffalo banks last summer.

Brown was convicted of robbing the First Niagara Bank branch at 1726 Hertel Ave. last July 3 and the First Niagara Bank branch at 2853 Delaware Ave. in Kenmore last July 9.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank T. Pimentel said in both robberies Brown gave a teller a note demanding money and claiming he had a gun. He was arrested after an FBI investigation, the prosecutor said.
