Batavia man arrested after refusing to leave home of person with order against him

BATAVIA – A 42-year-old Batavia man was arrested on felony charges by Genesee County sheriff deputies early Sunday afternoon for allegedly refusing to leave the Town of Batavia home of a person who had earlier obtained a court order against him. Anthony D. Alexander was taken into custody at the other person’s house about 2:05 p.m. He was charged with aggravated family offense for alleged repeated misconduct, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal contempt for allegedly disobeying a court order. After his arraignment in Batavia Town Court early Sunday evening he was remanded to the Genesee County Jail here until he posts $5,000 cash bail or obtains a bail bond. No information was available on his bail status Monday.
