Trump’s crude antics are an embarrassment
When Donald Trump announced that he was running for office, I thought he was joking. As time went on, I realized that he was serious. Although I knew he wasn’t going to say, “you’re fired!” I kept waiting for him to say, “I quit.” I thought maybe he would say he made a bet with someone to prove a point. He loves the publicity.
Then – to my horror – I realized he was serious. The way he describes different ethnic and religious groups is deplorable. He is a disgrace to the American people. What must children think when they hear him use language they are told is not proper? And he wants to be president of the United States? The president is supposed to support all people in the United States. And what must other countries think, especially if he becomes the Republican nominee?
His children support him when interviewed, but what do they think of his public antics and temper tantrums when they are in private? The way all of the candidates fight and bicker like children during the debates is unacceptable. I am 73 years old and have never seen anything like it.
