Documentary on race to be shown at St. Bonaventure

OLEAN – The documentary film, “The Central Park Five,” which tells the story of five black and Latino teenagers from Harlem who were wrongfully convicted of rape, will be shown at 6 p.m. Monday in the auditorium of the William F. Walsh Science Center at St. Bonaventure University. A discussion will follow. The program is free and open to the public.

The program, led by Rachel Ann Walsh, visiting assistant professor of English, and Christopher Brown, director of first-year experience and orientation programs, is part of the university’s year-long RaceMatters series on race and ethnicity.
