Lancaster driver who ignored 14 traffic tickets jailed after traffic stop

A Lancaster woman whose driver’s license was revoked in May 2013 for ignoring 14 traffic tickets was arrested after a traffic stop in Alden early Wednesday morning.

Angela Porter, 27, was pulled over for speeding on Broadway at about 1:30 a.m., the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said.

Porter was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and was sent to the Erie County Holding Center on $250 bail. She was scheduled to be arraigned in Alden Village Court later Wednesday.

Porter failed to pay fines or answer summonses for traffic violations in Buffalo, Clarence and Lockport, the Sheriff’s Office said.
