Fentanyl dealer pleads guilty

Alexander Snow, 33, of Buffalo pleaded guilty Wednesday before Chief U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci Jr. to the distribution of fentanyl in the city.

U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. said Snow faces a prison term of up to 20 years and a fine of up to $1 million when he is sentenced May 19. Assistant U.S. Attorney Caleb J. Petzoldt said that in December 2014 and January 2015 Snow trafficked in the distribution of fentanyl in the city, initially unaware that six of his sales were to undercover agents of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
