Two Pennsylvania teens arrested for gun thefts from a Carlton home

CARLTON – Two 16-year-old Pennsylvania boys were charged last week with breaking into a Ford Street home and stealing two .22-caliber revolvers belonging to the grandfather of one of the boys.

Based on tips from relatives of one of the boys, Orleans County sheriff deputies arrested both on Feb. 10 and recovered the revolvers. According to relatives, the boys had planned to some how “lay low” after stealing the handguns and then take them to Florida. Both are charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. They face Carlton Town Court proceedings at 5:45 p.m. March 7, according to the sheriff’s office.
