Seeds of Living Education, SOLE, is looking for local farms and businesses interested in setting up a stand June 3 at its Local Living Fair on the Giving Garden Grounds on Pleasant Avenue. For information email cochairwoman and garden coordinator Tricia Miller at sam2ted@gmail.com.

The group has been growing and sharing garden lessons since 2009, reaching hundreds of children through classes, garden club, programs and activities in the Giving Garden.

An evening of snowshoeing originally scheduled for Feb. 6 has been rescheduled for Feb. 27 at the Taylor Road Park, 6765 Taylor Road. The hike is presented by Earth Spirit Educational Services Inc. in partnership with the Town of Hamburg Department of Youth, Recreation and Senior Services. Registration is through Earth Spirit. Registration has begun for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce’s 32nd annual golf tournament June 6 at Wanakah Country Club. Last year’s event, which includes golf, lunch and dinner, was sold out. Contact the chamber at 649-7917 for more information or sign up on line.

• The town Planning Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in a work session, followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m., Room 7B in Town Hall, 6100 S.Park Ave.

• The Hamburg Village Board meets in a work session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m. in Village Hall, 100 Main St.

• The Hamburg village Economic Development Committee meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Village Hall.

• The Blasdell Village Board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Village Hall, 121 Miriam Ave.
