Katy Dorsheimer and Andres Manamon were married at 5 p.m. on Aug. 8, 2015, in Robin’s Restaurant in Cambria, Calif., where guests gathered for a reception. Robert Mortensen of American Marriage Ministries in Wrightsville Beach, N.C., heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Karen and Michael Dorsheimer of Lake View. The bridegroom’s parents are Deb Kerr of Port Orange, Fla., and Fredrick Manamon of Plymouth, Mass. The bride, a graduate of Frontier High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hilbert College, a master’s degree in community counseling and a doctorate in counseling psychology from SUNY Albany. The bride is a licensed psychologist at Orange Coast Psychological Associates in Fountain Valley, Calif. The groom, a graduate of Plymouth South, earned a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne, Mass. He is a senior surveyor at American Bureau of Shipping in Long Beach, Calif. After a trip to Peru, the couple will make their home in Long Beach, Calif.
