Schuele Boys gang associate pleads guilty to drug charge

Eric Sears, 48, an associate of Buffalo’s notorious Schuele Boys drug gang, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo Friday to conspiracy to distribute cocaine, according to U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr.

Sears, who faces sentencing May 18, conspired with other members of the gang and associates in 2013 and 2014 to sell cocaine throughout Buffalo, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney George C. Burgasser. He is one of 28 members of the gang or their associates arrested and one of 18 now convicted of crimes, Hochul said.
