Bulletin Board for Feb. 12

The Niagara Police Athletic League will honor 24 prep athletes at their 34th Sports Awards Dinner, Feb. 21, 4 p.m. at Como Restaurant. Tickets are $35 and are available at the Niagara Police Athletic League or at the door the day of the event. For details call PAL office, 286-7038. This year’s honorees include: Caitlyn Mason, Julia Lawley, Bailey Stayner, Sarah Yensan, Laura Auernhamer, Marina Campbell, Carli Leo, Kyri Jackson, Elizabeth Wildt, Emma Lindke, Erica Bradley, Zipporah Barrett, Bradley Wilson, James Niland, Donald Allender, Jack Igoe, Zach LaJoie, Noah Freeburger, Da’Quan Hubbard, Nathan Nielsen, Cody Sikora, Anderson Xapsos, Sam Wray and Alex Fox.

BASEBALL: Team New Era will host a two-day wood bat tournament Feb. 15-16 for players ages 9 to 12 at their Depew facility. Registrations is for individuals only, teams will be drafted Monday morning and play 4 games, including playoffs, bats provided. Cost is $40 with a lunch served on Monday. COACHING: Brockport State Defensive Coordinator Mike Fox is the featured speaker for the WNY Football Coaches Association meeting at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Elks Lodge in Lancaster. The free clinic is open to all youth, high school and college coaches. For information, call Chuck Huber, 681-7443.

FOOTBALL: Cross Training Football will hold a skills camp for OL/QB/RB/WR/DB/LB positions for athletes grades 8-11 on Feb. 15, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Buffalo Bills ADPRO Training Center. Cost is $49. Staff includes local college and high school coaches. Register at www.go-cta.com or 393-3744.
