Search of Allentown deli yields drugs, guns

The Buffalo police narcotics squad recovered a quantity of drugs and guns Wednesday afternoon during a search of a corner delicatessen in Allentown, authorities said.

Police executed a search warrant at Bill’s Food Mart at Allen and North Pearl Streets and recovered crack cocaine and “other substances,” said police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge. Two firearms were also seized, he said.

A 21-year-old man was arrested during the raid and is facing multiple charges, including criminal possession of narcotics, police said, but his name and other details of the case were not disclosed.
