Two alleged street dwellers arrested for burglary

Two alleged Buffalo street dwellers were arrested after they were allegedly found sleeping in a bed in a Helen Street man’s home early Monday morning.

Richard Davey, 47, who once lived on Seneca Street, according to his record of prior Buffalo arrests, and Parris Parker, 26, who used to live on Cornwall Avenue, according to the same arrest records, were taken into custody in the home off Lafayette Avenue about 5:45 a.m. Monday.

They are both charged with felony counts of second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief for allegedly stealing five pairs of sneakers at the Helen Street home they had allegedly broken into. They were also charged with damaging the refrigerator in that home before going to sleep, only to be caught when the home-owner returned.
