Lockport tattoo artist goes for big money Tuesday on 'Ink Master'

Nick D’Angelo, a Lockport tattoo artist, will be featured in Tuesday night’s final episode of the current season of “Ink Master,” a competition show for tattoo artists on Spike TV network.

D’Angelo, 26, is one of the four contestants shooting for a $10,000 first prize in the episode that is scheduled to air at 10 p.m.

D’Angelo, owner of Ink & Style, a combination tattoo parlor and hair salon on Chestnut Street in Lockport, said he signed a confidentiality agreement not to disclose the outcome in the pre-recorded program.

This is the third season in which he’s appeared on the show. In 2012, he lasted five weeks before being voted out by the judges, and returned for a one-shot “redemption” appearance in a later season.
