ELLICOTTVILLE – A Concord man registered a blood-alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit when he was stopped on Saturday, State Police said.

Daniel J. Griffith, 56, whose Jeep was seen weaving in and out of its lane, was pulled over on Route 219 in Ellicottville just before 4 p.m. He had a BAC of 0.23 percent, nearly triple the legal limit of .08 percent, police said.

In addition to aggravated driving while intoxicated, State Police also charged Griffith with unlawful possession of marijuana.
