BNRinkside: Clarkson breaks into national poll

The top team in the nation remains Quinnipiac as ranked by the USCHO.com Men's Division I poll this week. The Bobcats are 21-1-6 overall and tied Cornell while defeating Colgate this past weekend. Of course on my ballot North Dakota kept the top spot. The Fighting Hawks are 22-3-3 and were off this week. Hard for me to penalize them for not playing.

Breaking into my ballot and the No. 20 spot in the national poll is Clarkson which is 8-1-1 in its last 10 games and up to 17 in the PairWise rankings. Atlantic Hockey's Robert Morris came in at No. 20 on my ballot was first among those receiving votes this week.
