LOCKPORT – A Lockport driver’s blood-alcohol content was twice the legal limit when he was arrested this week, State Police said.
Albert J. Franco, 50, was charged with driving while intoxicated after State Police saw him swerving and slamming on his brakes on South Transit Road on Tuesday. He registered a BAC of .16 percent, double the limit of .08 percent.
State Police also ticketed Franco for moving from a lane unsafely, failure to keep right and possession of an open container of alcohol. He’s due in Lockport Town Court on Thursday.
