LOCKPORT – A Town of Tonawanda man admitted Friday that he molested a 6-year-old girl in Niagara Falls in January 2015.
Dean Dallesandro, 44, of Dolphann Drive, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted first-degree sexual abuse and faces a prison term of as long as four years when he is sentenced May 20 by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon. She allowed Dallesandro to remain free on $10,000 bail.
Assistant District Attorney Robert A. Zucco said the sexual abuse of the girl occurred intermittently from September 2014 through June 2015, and included incidents in Erie County as well as in the Falls. However, Zucco told Sheldon that the Erie County District Attorney’s Office decided not to prosecute Dallesandro any further in that county.
