Police arrested two people after they found a meth lab in a Gowanda apartment building on Thursday.
Several law enforcement agencies executed two search warrants at 42 Commercial St., Gowanda police said. An active methamphetamine lab was found, causing the building to be evacuated so the lab could be dismantled.
Alissa C. Jones, 44, and James R. Korbar, 53, were charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, a class D felony.
Agencies who participated in Thursday’s raid were Gowanda police, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
