LOCKPORT – A Lockport man on Friday picked up his third felony conviction in the past six years for crack cocaine dealing.
Davaris M. Hodge, 24, of Erie Street, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and was scheduled for sentencing April 20. However, Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon promised him a probation term.
The latest indictment accused Hodge of drug deals in the City of Lockport last Feb. 27 and March 16. However, those crimes occurred before Sheldon, in a sentence for a 2014 crack deal, sent Hodge to the state prison system’s secure drug treatment facility May 21. He successfully completed that program and was paroled Nov. 3.
