Orchard Park police charge four in thefts from Kohl’s

Orchard Park police arrested four people Tuesday for three separate incidents of theft at Kohl’s.

Police were called to the store at Milestrip and Abbott roads at 2 p.m. where they arrested Audra Sitarek, 41, of West Seneca. Sitarek was charged with petit larceny after police say she stole about $180 in clothing.

A couple hours later, police arrested Danielle E. Palumbo, 28, of Rochester and accused her of stealing more than $1,800 in merchandise, including 16 smartphone battery cases. Police said they found other stolen items in her vehicle. She was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Shortly after 8 p.m., a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were taken into custody for stealing $66 and $55 in merchandise respectively. The sister and brother received summonses to Orchard Park Youth Court and were released to their parents.
