Falls man found with blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit

NIAGARA FALLS – State troopers charged a Niagara Falls man with drunken driving after he was found stopped on Lewiston Road on Sunday.

Sylvester Means, 42, was charged with driving while intoxicated, stopping on the highway and moving from a lane unsafely.

Troopers detected the odor of alcohol after he was stopped and reported he was found with a blood alcohol level of 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

He is to appear in Niagara Falls City Court on Monday.
