Buffalo man charged with child porn and sex trafficking

A 20-year-old Buffalo man was ordered to remain in custody after his arrest Wednesday on a federal complaint accusing him of child pornography-related crimes and sex trafficking through social media sites.

Robert Pritchett was arrested for the sex trafficking of minors and production, receipt and possession of child pornography, according to U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. If convicted as charged, including the alleged rapes of a 15-year-old Cheektowaga girl and a 17-year-old New Jersey girl, he faces at least 15 years in prison and could be given a life term, Hochul said.

After Pritchett was arraigned before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah J. McCarthy early Wednesday afternoon he was ordered to remain in custody pending further court proceedings.
