Lockport man pleads to gun, drug felonies

LOCKPORT – Shakquil Reed-Robinson, 23, of Washington Street, Lockport, accepted a plea deal Monday in Niagara County Court that saw him admit to two felonies in exchange for a five-year limit on his prison time.

Reed-Robinson pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a weapon for having a loaded, defaced .22-caliber revolver when police raided his apartment May 11, looking for drugs. He also admitted to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for a crack cocaine sale in Lockport in early September.

Judge Sara Sheldon scheduled sentencing for April 6.
