Arrested for crack near an allegedly known drug area of the city

A 43-year-old Seneca Street man dropped a bag of alleged crack cocaine rocks as police approached him near what they said was a “known drug area” in the vicinity of Minnesota and Suffolk avenues early Tuesday.

Lawrence Strozewski was arrested at that intersection after officers reported seeing him drop to the ground a “clear bag” allegedly containing crack rocks. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
