Little Valley woman charged with Leandra’s Law violation after traffic stop

MACHIAS – A Little Valley woman with a previous drunken driving conviction had a 9-month-old in the vehicle when he was charged last week with driving while intoxicated in Cattaraugus County.

State Police charged Jacquelyn A. McCord, 25, with felony DWI, violating Leandra’s Law, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and equipment violations after a traffic stop on Route 242.

McCord, who had a suspended driver’s license, recorded a blood-alcohol level of 0.13 percent when she was arrested just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday, State Police said. She was sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $500 cash bail.
