Hodgson Russ, Buffalo’s largest law firm, named Rick W. Kennedy its new president and CEO.
Kennedy joined Hodgson Russ as an associate attorney in 1983 and became a partner in 1990, concentrating in environmental matters and the law governing lawyers. He has served as the firm’s co-general counsel and loss prevention partner, and a member of its board of directors for more than a decade.
Kennedy helped found EduNations Inc., a nonprofit organization building and operating schools and providing other humanitarian aid to Sierra Leone. He is director and vice president of the organization, and a member of the board at the Chapel at Crosspoint.
Kennedy succeeds John P. Amershadian as the law firm’s president and CEO.
