Man robs Niagara Falls convenience store

NIAGARA FALLS – A man robbed a Buffalo Avenue 7-Eleven convenience store early Monday morning, according to Niagara Falls police.

The robber had a silver pipe and possibly a gun inside his sweatshirt when he stole cash from the store at 6802 Buffalo Ave., at about 12:30 a.m. He fled the store on foot heading west on Buffalo Avenue, according to a police report.

The robber was described as a black male who was 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a blue and gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt with white strings with the hood pulled over his head. He was also wearing khaki pants, white and black sneakers, black gloves and a black bandana across his nose and mouth.
