Bills/Jets inactives: Bilal Powell out, Mario Williams in

Not that there was much question about it, but defensive end Mario Williams is active for the Buffalo Bills. Despite teammates questioning his effort, and a rough performance last week, Williams will play what will likely be his final game with the Bills.

He is expected to be released this coming off-season, which would clear up $12.9 million in salary-cap space.

Rather than send a message by deactivating Williams, coach Rex Ryan will play Williams. He has defended and supported his play and effort all season.

There were no surprises on the inactive list. New wideout Leonard Hankerson, who admitted he hasn't been around long enough to learn much at all, will play over rookie Dezmin Lewis. At running back, it'll be the Karlos Williams and Mike Gillislee Show again for Buffalo. Williams will get the start.

At inside linebacker, A.J. Tarpley will start in place of Nigel Bradham (ankle)

For New York, running back Bilal Powell is out. He was questionable to play with an ankle injury.
