Victim of North Tonawanda fatal fire identified

Reid Bracken died in a fire at his home on Belling Place in North Tonawanda, police said Thursday,

Firefighters pulled Bracken out of the burning house at 1338 Belling Wednesday evening and he was taken to DeGraff Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police and fire units were called to the two-story house about 6:20 p.m.

Investigators determined that the fire was accidental and that the “use of his kitchen stove and/or electrical could not be ruled out as a cause.” Damage was estimated at $40,000 to the house and $10,000 to the contents.
