Toronto man injured while climbing rocks at Niagara Glen

NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. – A Toronto man was injured Saturday afternoon when he slipped while rock climbing at Niagara Glen along the Niagara Parkway.

Parks Police said late Sunday they have no update on the condition of the 31-year-old victim, who suffered a lower body injury and was taken to Niagara Health System in St. Catharines. Niagara Parks Police High Angle River Team and other emergency services responded to the scene about 4:45 p.m., after being alerted by a friend of the climber who was with him, authorities said.
