Teaching conference coming to Niagara University

LEWISTON – Ken Bain, president of the Best Teachers Institute, will be the keynote speaker at Niagara University’s 15th annual Conference on Teaching and Learning Jan. 11-12.

Bain is the author of “What the Best College Teachers Do” and its sequel, “What the Best College Students Do.” Both books won the Virginia and Warren Stone Prize for an outstanding book on education and society. He also was the founding director of four major teaching and learning centers.

The conference is being coordinated by NU’s Committee on College Teaching and Learning. Registration, which is due immediately, cityis $40 for the Monday program, $55 for the Tuesday program, or $75 for both.
