After a handful of 10th anniversary shows a couple of years back and some new music teases sprinkled throughout the year, the Buffalo quartet Misconstruity is returning to the local stage.
Celebrating the release of Jay Zubricky-recorded comeback album “chè vuoi?,” the post-hardcore/emo quartet, one of the genre’s premiere groups during its run in Buffalo, will look to reclaim that title with its new collection of music. The mastering and pressing of the album was made possible by a very successful crowd-funding campaign that ran earlier this fall on Indiegogo.
Joining Misconstruity will be post-punk foursome Orations [which placed in McGuire's top five local songs of 2015].
After the group’s first attempt at a record release show was postponed at the tail-end of November, the quartet is set to premiere new music from its latest, the ‘80s-flavored 7-inch “Incantation.”
