LOCKPORT – A Lockport woman driving with her 7-month-old granddaughter in the back seat was high on either drugs or alcohol when arrested shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday in the Town of Lockport, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Lisa L. Summerlee, 46, was charged with a felony violation of Leandra’s Law, driving on the shoulder, driving while ability impaired by drugs and endangering the welfare of a child. Summerlee came to the attention of deputies following the report of an erratic driver westbound on Rochester Road in Royalton. She was pulled over in the 7000 block of Chestnut Ridge Road.
She was arraigned in Town of Lockport Court and remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
