The Orchard Park School Board on Tuesday voted to extend the contract of Schools Superintendent Matthew P. McGarrity through June 2020, the district said in a news release.
The contract includes no increase in base pay for the 2016-17 school year and an average salary increase of 1.625 percent over the remaining four years of the deal, the district said.
McGarrity’s most recent salary was $190,584, according to the Empire Center’s SeeThroughNY website.
“The Board stated they are very pleased with the stability, knowledge, leadership and vision he has brought to the district,” the district said in the release.
McGarrity was hired in 2010 and previously was superintendent in Dansville.
