Tonawanda woman accused of driving after using cocaine

A City of Tonawanda woman is accused of driving a vehicle with expired plates and no registration, insurance or inspection while under the influence of cocaine early Tuesday morning after a traffic stop in the city, police reported.

Margaret A. Wolff, 43, of Main Street, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. on Koch Street after field tests revealed she was operating under the influence of cocaine and Percocet, police said.

Wolff was taken to Erie County Medical Center where a drug recognition officer also determined she was under the influence of cocaine, police said. Wolff allegedly admitted to officers she had used cocaine earlier in the evening, police said.

Police said her vehicle had expired Pennsylvania plates and no registration, insurance and or inspection. She was returned to the police station and held on $250 bail.
