The Bank of Holland named Mark R. George vice president/senior loan officer. George has been with the bank since 2000.


Lumsden McCormick named Gregory Bukolt a staff accountant in the firm’s tax department. Bukolt graduated with a master’s degree from the University at Buffalo and earned a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.  


Terry Radder, a longtime service engineer at Copier Fax Business Technologies was recently recognized by Konica Minolta as one of the top technical training students in the country. Radder received the Silver Seal of Excellence Award, after his recent completion of the KIP System K Software training through Konica Minolta’s technical school program.

Company Connections

The Evans Agency, the wholly owned insurance subsidiary of Evans Bancorp, has moved within Lockport to a new location, 5688 South Transit Road. The new building offers modern amenities in an efficient office space and additional parking. Evans began renovating the former KeyBank location earlier this year. The Lockport insurance office was previously located at 135 Main St.


The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus recently opened Learn at the Thomas R. Beecher Jr. Innovation Center at 640 Ellicott St. on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, designed to provide education and training to entrepreneurs and their growing companies. Learn at the Innovation Center was made possible through a $50,000 two-year grant from First Niagara Bank. Capstream Technologies provided the audio-visual and digital technology and Mid-City Office Furniture provided the furniture for the new space.


The Amherst Senior Citizens Foundation donated $10,000 towards the purchase of a new 16-passenger bus for Amherst Senior Transportation services and helped garner a $3,000 donation from the Williamsville Rotary Club and $2,000 from the Chur Family Foundation plus $16,000 in grants towards the purchase of the bus, which will be used primarily to transport seniors to medical appointments. ASTS will contribute an additional $8,000 to make the bus purchase possible.
