Deputies make prostitution arrests in Clarence

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people after a prostitution bust Friday night in Clarence.

The sheriff’s office charged Malissa Thompson, 33, of Buffalo, with prostitution and Rory Moran, 36, of Tonawanda, with promoting prostitution and criminal possession of a controlled substance. The arrests happened at an unspecified hotel, authorities said.

Both were taken to the Erie County Holding Center and later released. They face a future appearance in Clarence Town Court.
