Ryan Ciminelli may have missed out on a $60,000 payday when he finished third in the Rolltech PBA World Championship on Thursday when he was eliminated in a stepladder semifinal by Gary Faulker, Jr. However, he picked up a nice consolation on Friday.
The left-hander from Cheektowaga won the Viper Championship, another event in the PBA World Series of Bowling VII after defeating Faulkner, 245-225, in one semifinal. Then he triumphed over Kim Bolleby, 237-201, for the fifth PBA Tour title of his career. The victory was worth $20,000. Bolleby triumphed over Jakub Buttruff of Chandler, Ariz. in the other semifinal at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nev.#
