Car stolen in Lewiston found torched off Lockport Bypass

TOWN OF LOCKPORT – A car stolen from the Lewiston area was found early Friday, abandoned and torched in a field off the Lockport Bypass.

Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said the vehicle was discovered about 3 a.m. just north of Robinson Road, about 500 feet off the roadway. The car was heavily damaged, and the investigation was turned over to the Lewiston Police Department. No further details were provided.
