Three charged with making meth in Yorkshire home

YORKSHIRE – Authorities charged three people with making methamphetamine after a raid on West Yorkshire Road earlier this week.

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Wyoming County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 3488 West Yorkshire Road at about 6 a.m. Wednesday where they said they found precursors to a meth lab.

They arrested Alexander S. Toepfer, 25; Rachelle S. Fancher, 19; and Richard I. Fancher, 21, on charges of third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a Class D felony.

The trio was arraigned in Freedom Town Court and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $1,000 bail each.

Task force members were assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Arcade police and the State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team. Authorities said they expect to make more arrests as part of this investigation.
