‘Sloan for Christmas’ to celebrate holiday, St. Andrew’s and Polish heritage

The Cheektowaga Community Symphony Orchestra will present “Sloan for Christmas,” a celebration of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church’s centennial, the holiday season and Polish heritage in Western New York.. at 3 p.m. Sunday in St. Andrew’s, 34 Francis Ave., Sloan.

The concert will feature music by Anderson, Torme, Humperdink, Berlin, Liadov, a Christmas sing-along and a wreath of Polish carols, arranged by Dr. Thomas Witakowski, national director of the Polish Singers Alliance of America and associate professor at SUNY Buffalo State.
