To accommodate larger-than-expected crowds, the 2015 Festival of Lights at the Hamburg Fairgrounds has added extra hours ahead of Christmas.
The festival will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. daily through Wednesday. The grounds remain open until 10 p.m.
The centerpiece of the Festival of Lights is the North Pole Experience, where visitors take a path to Santa’s front porch. Santa and Mrs. Claus greet guests and pose for photos for free.
There also is the Igloo, the site of the Great Lakes Ice Carving Competition Gallery, with ice-sculpting demonstrations by Jerry Perun of the Ice Farm held nightly.

Admission is $25 per carload and $50 per busload. There is a $5 discount with a receipt from Tops.
