MEDINA – Illegal drugs were being sold in the parking lot of a Medina drugstore, according to investigators.
After a three-month investigation into the sale and distribution of crack cocaine coming from Rochester into Orleans County, the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force and Medina Police Department arrested a Rochester man found to be selling drugs in a Rite Aid parking lot in the village.
Maurice D. Jacobs, 37, of Conkey Avenue, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Town of Albion Court and was being held in Orleans County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
