Wyoming County man charged with felony count in marijuana case

WARSAW – A 40-year-old North Java man has been charged with a felony drug count for allegedly having over four pounds of marijuana packaged and apparently ready for sale in his home, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday. Steven Brunner was charged after Sheriff Deputies Bradley McGinnis and Same West raided his house on Perry Road in the Town of Sheldon Wednesday and reported finding over four pounds of marijuana, over two pounds of which was dried and packaged and another two pounds that was being dried. Brunner was charged with a felony count of third-degree criminal possession of marijuana. He faces further proceedings in Sheldon Town Court.
