Chip Kelly tried to once again to reach out to LeSean McCoy. And LeSean McCoy, reportedly, was having none of that.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles coach called McCoy this week. The Buffalo Bills running back didn't recognize the phone number so he answered. And once Kelly identified himself, McCoy hung up.
Earlier this week, McCoy didn't hold back. He said he wouldn't shake Kelly's hand and that he absolutely had nothing to say to the coach.
“Listen, man, Chip can’t shake (expletive). At all. Nothing,” McCoy said. “He knows this. That’s why he said it. I know him. He’s very intelligent. I can read between the lines. Like I said, I have nothing against him. No hatred. We’re not enemies. I won’t say anything wrong to him. There’s nothing for us to talk about.”
So apparently, he's still not taking Kelly's calls. The Bills and Eagles will finally play a football game at 1 p.m.
