Where We Live: Aurora/East Aurora, 12/13

Aurora/East Aurora

For the fourth year in a row the Aurora Theatre reels out the holiday season in Hollywood style with classic movie showings at 11 a.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 13, it’s Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas.” Before the traditional evening “Carolcade” caroling festival at 7 p.m. next Saturday, “A Christmas Story” comedy plays. And, on Sunday, Dec. 20, “It’s A Wonderful Life” takes the big screen.

In Aurora Theatre tradition, the lobby will be decorated with “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” movie props from the collection of David Howes. Moviegoers can make a donation and meet volunteers from the charities Kaely’s Kindness Foundation for teen girls with cancer and Toys for Tots. For more information, check or call 652-1660.
