On day after it was closed over unpaid taxes, the Original Honey’s restaurant at 4300 Maple Road has reopened.
The restaurant's Facebook page carried the news Friday afternoon.
"OPEN FOR BUSINESS FOLKS!! See you at 4pm when we re open after a brief closing," it said.
A representative from the state Department of Taxation and Finance on Thursday said the property had been seized for nonpayment of taxes.
Owner Larry Pacifico had said he was working to resolve the situation. He said he paid $49,000 toward an $80,000 debt and thought he could continue to make payments.
