History Museum gets grant to restore area under portico

The Buffalo History Museum has been awarded $44,000 to restore doors and windows under the museum’s portico, which has been closed for nearly 30 years.

Removal of the case block wall and boarded doorways will strengthen the buildings connections to the Jesse Kregal Pathway, the Japanese Garden and Delaware Park.

The funds came from the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council.
